Objetivo 3.3 PRONOMBRES REFLEXIVOS.

 

Pronombres reflexivos.

 

Se usan los pronombres reflexivos para enfatizar que alguien hace algo sin ninguna ayuda, lo hace por sí mismo.

 

Ejemplos

 

She hurt herself with the knife  (Ella se lastimó  ella misma con el cuchillo)

 

I phone him myself   (Yo lo llamé a él por mí misma)

 

A cada pronombre personal le corresponde un pronombre reflexivo, vean el cuadro:

I	myself	mí misma
You	yourself	Tu mismo/misma
He	himself	él mismo
She	herself	ella misma
It	itself	eso mismo
We	ourselves	nosotros mismos
You	yourselves	ustedes mismos
They	themselves	ellos mismos

 

Los pronombres reflexivos se pueden ubicar después del verbo principal de la oración  o al final de la misma.

 

Las estructuras gramaticales serían las siguientes:

 

            1.   sujeto + verbo + pronombre reflexivo + complemento

Ejemplos

                   I                write              myself                                the whole book

                        Lucia           took               herself                                the pictures

             2.   sujeto + verbo + complemento + by + Pronombre reflexivo

Ejemplos

                 Jerry           fixes          the car                     by                   himself

                    The boys       created       the game                 by                  themselves
